IAD SARL, Integrated Agricultural Development, is a family-owned agribusiness based in Bamenda, Northwest Region of Cameroon. With over 30 years of experience, we have grown from a modest cocoa-focused operation into a diversified agricultural enterprise involved in the cultivation and processing of maize, ginger, coffee, cocoa, palm kernel, and palm oil.

Our strength lies in experience, consistency, and a deep understanding of the agricultural value chain, from the soil to the final product.

Our Story

Our journey began over three decades ago with a simple but powerful focus, cocoa as a petite farmer. What started as a small-scale farm operation driven by passion and resilience gradually expanded into coffee farming, followed by palm kernel production, maize cultivation, and ginger farming thus the birth of IAD in 2008.

Through years of hard work and commitment, IAD evolved beyond cultivation into processing, adding value through palm oil extraction and ginger processing. Each phase of growth was built on discipline, learning, and an unshakable belief in the potential of agriculture in Cameroon.

At the heart of this journey was our founder, Mr Shemitang Victor Achebusong, a man whose dedication, vision, and hands-on approach laid the foundation for everything IAD stands for today.

On November 23, 2023, we experienced a profound loss with his passing. However, his vision did not end, it transitioned.

Today, IAD SARL is led by Mrs Teangung Florence Epse Shemitang, whose strength and leadership ensure continuity, and supported by Shemitang Desmond Achebusong, who is driving the next phase of growth and modernization.

Together, they carry forward a legacy, not just to maintain what was built, but to expand it, refine it, and position IAD as a key player in Cameroon’s agricultural transformation.

Our Leadership and Family Legacy

At IAD SARL, leadership is not distant, it is hands-on, present, and deeply connected to the work on the ground.

From the very beginning, our founder, Mr Shemitang Victor Achebusong, built the company on a simple principle, everyone works. Leadership was never about titles, it was about responsibility. Whether in the fields, during processing, or in operations, he led by example, working side by side with his team and setting the standard for discipline, commitment, and excellence.

That culture remains unchanged today.

At IAD, every member of the team, from management to field workers, operates with a shared sense of purpose. Decisions are informed by real experience, and leadership stays actively involved in day-to-day operations. This hands-on approach ensures quality, accountability, and a deep understanding of every stage of production.

Following the passing of our founder on November 23, 2023, the responsibility of continuing this legacy was carried forward by his family.

Mrs Teangung Florence Epse Shemitang stepped in to lead the company, providing stability, continuity, and strength during a critical transition. Her leadership has preserved the values and direction established by the founder, ensuring that the business continues to grow without losing its foundation.

Supporting her is Shemitang Desmond Achebusong, who now oversees most of the farm and operational activities. With a forward-looking mindset and a strong connection to the company’s roots, he is driving the next phase of development, modernization, and expansion.

As Mrs Teangung Florence gradually transitions toward retirement, the leadership is naturally evolving, with Desmond taking on greater responsibility in shaping the future of IAD SARL.

Together, they represent continuity and progress, a family committed not only to preserving a legacy, but to building something greater for the next generation.
